Molson Coors Beverage Co. is looking for a dynamic, innovative, process-focused supply chain professional that can implement global standards and fuel the growth of our Global Business Services (GBS) team. The Business Process Manager Material Master Data, reports to Business Process Excellence (BPE) team and includes a tower dedicated to multiple master data domains.

 

What You Will Deliver:

The Business Process Manager- Master Data is a position within the BPE Group reporting to the Global Business Process Owner- Data focused on integrated processes across all functions of the company associated with governing the usage and quality of products and material data while supporting other Business Process Manager data domains when needed.  The role will drive operational efficiencies and financial returns by continuously improving our processes, transforming to standard processes, and ensuring that data is used the right way the first time.  The Business Process Manager will ensure that ongoing data validity is a sustained asset in the organization.  The purpose of the Business Process Manager is to define, measure, and optimize the end-to-end data processes for Molson Coors Beverage Co. especially those that are initiated by the Commercial organization. This role entails enhancing process activities and components across the enterprise working with global process leads, corporate leadership and business units. The BPM will guide the company via a hands-on approach from its early stages through system maturity. This role requires a robust continuous improvement methodology in addition to the ability to drive a large cultural change program across the Molson Coors business.   

 

This will require the individual to operate effectively in the following areas:

-Creating the governance and usage controls for material and product data at the global, regional and facility level

- Defining and implementing enterprise material and product data management strategies and data management processes to effectively govern enterprise data and eliminate risk/impact of mis-managed material and product data including setting standards, roles, responsibilities and tool usage

- Set clearly defined material and product data management definitions for use across the organization

- Taking responsibility for the creation and adoption of material and product data quality standards and remediation plans across the enterprise

- Developing and driving partnerships with key stakeholders to address critical topics such as data quality and functional system administration of data  

- Seeking out continuous improvement opportunities and providing solutions that realize benefits including participation in projects as well as small enhancements

- Implementing our sustainment methodology and principles in line with Molson Coors strategy as it relates to material and product data sustainment

- Provide key support to any integration efforts

 

There are 5 areas that need focus from this individual:

Data Governance Process Improvements: Define usage and governance in end to end processes for the full lifecycle of material and product data.  Implement data governance strategies, policies and standards.  Maintain roles and responsibilities matrix for adhering to global, regional, and facility data standards.  Develop data quality standards. Identify process and system enhancements for the value stream to ensure that processes are continuously improved. This should include a) the building and maintaining of appropriate costing models for each value stream / process and liaising with functional leads and line management to ensure that the process improvements support the functional strategy. b) Identifying the points in the processes where wastage / cost exist within the value stream, and where improvements and additional value can be gained, and ensuring that sub-optimization does not occur across the other processes. Act as the Design Authority to ensure impact of proposed process / system changes are evaluated and understood.

 

Customer Experience: Create a seamless and positive internal and external customer experience. This involves proactively seeking and actioning feedback from customers on the end-to-end processes from commercial, supply chain, and finance. Identify capability building opportunities that enable process teams to develop expertise in the end-to-end process. Define and establish consistent end-to-end process adoption metrics and targets in consultation with customers. Revise them based on maturity of the processes over time. Provide leadership and support to breweries and other business functions in consistent process enhancements and solution adoption

 

IT and AMS Collaboration: Engage Application Maintenance Support teams to understand break/fix issues and understand trends. Interact with IT Business partners in execution of system enhancements and participate in project execution as appropriate. Lead and manage regression testing with involvement from AMS and IT teams.

 

GBS Center Interaction: Interact with GBS center process leads to collectively define, measure and optimize end-to-end processes across the enterprise.  Contribute to process deployments in business functions.

 

Training and Expert User Management: Ensure operating procedures are established to support execution and adoption; training materials are created and/or maintained to align with process changes. Lead network of Expert Users for capability area to support sustainment and on-going user adoption. Work with stakeholders in the process knowledge development and recognition of Expert user community.

 

Why You Qualify: 
Education

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 to 7 years in business or IT

Experience (3 to 5 years of):

  • Data governance management
  • Knowledge of the MillerCoors or Molson Coors processes related to integrated global master data functionality or equivalent CPG experience including but not limited to:
    • Material extension/creation thru discontinuation until full decommission
    • New product introduction
    • Merger and Acquisition data management
    • Data lifecycle management
    • Data accuracy measurement
  • The data manager needs to understand integration and timing of material use in sales and manufacturing functional processes in order to successfully govern data sustainably.
  • The data manager will need some systems experience in the following tools: ECC (all modules); SCM- APO; SCM-EWM; INFOR, etc.
  • Have cross-functional knowledge of different master data domains such as Material, Customer and Vendor

 

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer proficiency (e.g. MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Experience in Material Management SAP module is a must
  • Ability to work in virtual teams, matrixed organization and fast paced environment
  • Interpersonal savvy –work collaboratively and build relationships with all customers with diverse cultures, geographies, and personalities
  • Look beyond symptoms of problems to develop sound, logical analysis to solve difficult problems
  • Experience managing virtual and matrixed teams
  • Ability to speak and communicate in both English and French preferred especially at a business level
