The Headlines:
In the role of Category Management Analyst working in Dallas, Chicago, Southern CA. Northern CA, Boise, Seattle, Portland or Phoenix you will be part of the Molson Coors Albertson’s Retail Sales team. This person will help design category & space based selling solutions in collaboration with the chain team to advance the business.
This position reports to Category Insights Manager and works closely with the Alberston’s Retail Sales Team.
The Responsibilities:
- Provides critical insights and analytical support with the Category Manager & Chain team to drive the customer’s beer category & capturing a disproportionate share of growth
- Provide understanding of category, channel, and shopper insights to sales teams through syndicated& internal data and how that aligns with retailers strategy & business goals
- Regular in-market work to evaluate effectiveness of plan implementation as well as in identifying retail volume/profit opportunities
- Supports the space management efforts with the retailer and provides “best in class” space management services and insights to achieve category goals of the retailer
- Responsible for creating and maintaining all Albertson’s Division-wide reporting
- Provides assistance on ad-hoc reporting, sales and category presentations

- You are confident and inquisitive. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business
- You take pride in ownership of projects and have a strong track record in delivering actionable insights
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Statistics/Analytics or other relevant field;
- You have at least 2 years' experience in data analysis and/or category/space management in the consumer or direct store delivery industries;
