Role Description
The Engineering Student Professional will work very closely with plant engineering and department engineering to help scope, facilitate and execute project across the facility. He/She would contribute to the Brewery success by working to define project scopes, build execution schedules, and coordinate execution with Plant Project Coordinators (PPCs), operations maintenance and contractors. A majority of the individual’s time will be spent on project execution but will also support process flow diagrams, P&IDs, Asset CARE deliverables, CAD drawings and other technical information.
Work Schedule
Standard working day (i.e. 6am to 4pm) from Monday to Friday; however, will accommodate schedule to coincide with classes, i.e. less hours per week during semester and ramp up to full time during the summer.
Responsibilities

- Working with areas and teams to understand issues or opportunities, work with those teams and plant engineering to develop project scopes of work to address those opportunities
- Walk down and understand existing process flow diagrams and systems operations to facilitate development of project scopes
- Help design and provide input to project scopes
- Develop project timelines based on defined scopes and budgets
- Work with plant PPCs and construction management to help coordinate outages and production schedules
- Help support and oversee execution of work on projects with support from plant personnel
- Send communications of status and progress on project execution to key stakeholders in the facility
- Help to deal with issues as they arise on the fly during execution of work

- Facilitate lessons learned sessions for work executed to look for opportunities for improvement on future project work and document corrective steps
Technical Documentation
- Regular work to include downloading and understanding CAD drawings (civil, mechanical, electrical, controls, etc.)
- Opening drawings and providing updates to the drawings based on project scope
- Submitting drawings through our document management process to permanently update those drawings in our retention system
- Walk down and verify process flow diagrams for systems to support project scope development and understanding of system operation
- Update and revise process flow diagrams (various digital formats)
- Help develop equipment maintenance documents as needed to support long term care of assets (Asset CARE, EAM, and RAMS)
- As needed, help to develop supporting documents for projects such as operating procedures, Lock Out Tag Out documents, and One Point Lessons for equipment or systems
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving
- Support root cause problem solving efforts on key opportunities or issues for projects
- Analytically approach to systems or process using data to determine appropriate corrective measures and also use the same data to validate successful criteria
Qualifications / Skills:
Candidates must be U.S. citizens or have U.S. permanent work authorization; must be 21 years of age or older. Majors Considered: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Petroleum Engineering. 3.0 GPA or above is required. This internship experience will be located in Golden, CO.

- Our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is SAP and experience is preferred

- Intermediate skills in the MS office Suite to deliver results and presentations required
- Demonstrated ability to assimilate technical data to support recommendations
- Basic problem solving skills

Job Posting Salary Range: $30,400 - $43,700
