Coors Distributing Company (CDC) is one of the nation’s leading beer distributors based out of Denver, CO. We are the critical link between our brewery suppliers that produce the beer and the retail outlets where they are sold, as well as the restaurants and bars where they are consumed. We were founded in 1971 and became a MillerCoors LLC in 2008 as part of the joint venture between Miller Brewing Company and Coors Brewing Company, and we remain the only company owned distributor for Molson Coors Beverage Company. Major brand acquisitions occurred in January of 2010 making Coors Distributing Company one of the top 25 largest beer distributors in the country with over 30 suppliers, roughly 14 million cases per year, and nearly 400 employees.

The Headlines:

In the role of Merchandiser working in Denver, CO you will be part of the Distributor Sales Team. This person will execute the merchandising strategies within assigned retailers. This role will distribute inventory for each account by restocking all coolers and in-store space and displays to provide maximum availability of products on the sales floor while maintaining quality control in compliance with quality assurance standards.

This position reports to Merchandising Supervisor and collaborates with the Delivery/Warehouse teams and Chain team.

The Responsibilities:

• Develops display concepts utilizing CDC point of sale materials; installs and maintains all displays in retail accounts and adheres to CDC display standards
• Upholds high level of neatness and cleanliness in each store’s displays and coolers in order to present the products in manner that is attractive and pleasing to the retailer and the consumer
• Manages time effectively to route daily work needs, while following bulk delivery truck; communicates with Area Business Coordinator regarding daily activities
• Maintains communication with store owners and managers and as necessary, acts as liaison between store and CDC
• Stores reserve inventory in the proper designated area for later restocking; rotating stock appropriately according to expiration date; and setting up and/or building new displays as instructed 
• This is very physical work requiring repetitive lifting, bending, walking, and stacking of beverage products on a daily basis

The Other Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or GED required; must be at minimum 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and motor vehicle record must fall within the MillerCoors Pre-Employment Background Screening Guidelines
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis
• You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within our retailers and customers
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• As part of the recruitment process, the candidates will be required to provide consent to complete a criminal background check

Job Posting Hourly Rate: $17.00
