The Headlines:
In the role of Production Planner - OPEIU working in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, you will be part of the production planning team in the management of indirect/direct packaging and brewing materials, finished goods inventory, and shipment planning. You will provide direction to internal brewery customers and suppliers within general limits established by the manager in support of the production plan and distributor network services.
This position reports to the Sr. Production Services Scheduling Analyst and works closely with our production planning teams, internal customers, suppliers, and distributor networks.
The Responsibilities:
- Develop and reconcile rosters for hourly union employees
- Provide direction to internal brewery customers and suppliers within general limits established by the manager in support of the production plan and distributor network service.
- Initiate activities of an administrative nature in support of the production plan, supplier relationship, and distributor service
- Support department-wide cost savings and cost avoidance initiatives
The Other Qualifications:
- Possess a proven track record of achievement in a high speed, high volume manufacturing environment
- You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities. You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy
- You are serious about delivering results, and take pride in a proven track record in delivering.
- You have 3 or more years of experience in a customer service and/or manufacturing support role, and 1 or more years of experience scheduling in a high volume, consumer goods production environment
- You have experience with scheduling software/material requirements planning software, SAP, Access, FGCS, Outlook, and/or MiBuy
- BS or BA in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- APICS Certification preferred
