The Headlines:
In the role of Sr. R&D Packaging Manager, working in Milwaukee, WI you will lead the Research & Development packaging team to develop and direct the implementation of the brewing / product strategy and programs that drive innovation, cost, quality, and health and safety resulting in step change business performance.
This position reports to the Director, Packaging/Dispense R&D & Innovation, and works closely with all teams across the organization, including Commercialization, Operations, and Marketing.
The Responsibilities:
• Responsible for creating, developing and applying the company’s technical knowledge for the development of superior new products and core brand renovations in conjunction with developing, leveraging and applying superior consumer science.
• Responsible to lead, direct, and manage all technical innovation and development activities for the business unit and global emerging business segments.
• Builds external partnerships with suppliers, industry experts, universities to progress innovation.
• Manages current regulatory issues and provides direction to Legal regarding the tone and scope of future regulatory and industry governance.
The Other Qualifications:
• 10 years of experience in packaging or associated consumer goods industry.
• You will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Packaging or related discipline; advanced degree in packaging science preferred.
• Experience of project management in a multi-site environment.
• You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities. You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy
• You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business
• You are a motivated leader that can inspire others; you respect your commitments and are able to obtain optimal results from your team through respect and development
