Momar, Inc., a privately owned specialty chemical manufacturing company based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Dynamics Nav/BC Administrator to join the Momar family. Reporting to the Chief Information Technology Officer, the Dynamics Nav/BC Administrator is responsible for delivering innovative solutions and best practices while playing a key role in our NAV projects and integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL databases, programming, and experience with database reporting tools such as Power BI, SSRS, Jet Reports, or Crystal Reports.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and maintain best practices for Microsoft Dynamics NAV to optimize system performance and user experience.
- Assist with NAV projects, contributing to planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure successful outcomes.
- Manage integrations with other 3rd party systems utilizing Nav webservices.
- Implement EDI integrations with vendors and customers for seamless data exchange.
- Provide support to various departments on NAV-related issues, troubleshooting problems, and offering solutions.
- Lead the migration process from NAV to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption.
- Document changes to system configurations and customizations for future reference.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users on how to effectively use Business Central.
- Conduct thorough analysis of business workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues, providing user support and training as needed.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and security.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, including functional consulting, development, and analysis.
- Proven experience in system integrations, particularly via Nav’s webservices and EDI.
- Proven experience in basic manufacturing and accounting processes.
- Proven experience with Lanham e-ship and E.D.I. modules
- Proven experience with Chargelogic modules.
- Strong understanding of tax rules.
- Strong understanding of NAV architecture and best practices.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus.
- Experience with reporting tools such as PowerBI or Jet Reports is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
