As we rapidly expand in the U.S. market, we are seeking an experienced and passionate User Researcher to join our team. This role is pivotal in bridging market insights between the U.S. and our global teams, driving product innovation, and shaping brand strategy.
Responsibilities:
1. User Research Execution:
- Design and independently execute user research projects focused on consumer product usage insights, local consumption behaviors, and market trends.
- Conduct qualitative research, including in-depth 1-on-1 interviews and focus group moderation.
- Perform expert interviews with lactation consultants, pediatricians, and other relevant professionals to gather specialized insights.
- Translate research insights into actionable recommendations to inform product decisions and prioritize feature development.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with global research and product teams to support research needs and ensure local market adaptation.
- Transform user insights into actionable product development and marketing strategy recommendations.
- Build strong relationships with product management and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and guide research strategies.
3. Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as a key liaison between the U.S. market and global teams, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and effective project execution.
- Deliver clear, concise research reports and presentations to stakeholders across different regions and functions.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in user research with the ability to lead independent research projects, preferably within the consumer goods sector.
3. Strong qualitative research skills, particularly in conducting in-depth interviews and moderating focus groups.
4. Located in New York (or New Jersey) or willing to relocate, with flexibility for travel to Los Angeles and other U.S. cities.
5. Experience working with cross-cultural or global teams is a plus.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey research findings.
