Global Director, IT Infrastructure and Security
The Global Director, IT Infrastructure and Security leads all aspects of the company's technology infrastructure and information security practices. These areas include cloud PaaS / IaaS operations, networks, telecommunications, end user services, and information security as well as corresponding budgets and policies for each. This hands-on role manages resources and assets in a global IT environment, establishing priorities and activities for team members and maintaining high-quality deliverables for critical systems, lifecycle, and new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Provide vision and direction for infrastructure and information security functions
- Manage corporate cybersecurity practices, including policies and procedures, and ensure global adherence
- Regularly test, identify, and remediate vulnerabilities throughout the environment
- Architect technology, process, and training security practices that result in an appropriate level of information security for the enterprise and for its employees
- Ensure compliance with all applicable data privacy regulations
- Drive IT service level improvements utilizing employee feedback, key performance indicators, benchmarking and lifecycle management best practices
- Manage standards, best practices, technical architecture, and cost optimization to deliver ever increasing levels of infrastructure effectiveness across the enterprise
- Ensure responsive and seamless end user service experience
- Develop collaborative vendor relationships including third party services providers
- Manage organizational Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery plans
- Recruit, mentor, and develop team of high performing technology professionals including third party services providers
- Stay current on technology and security trends, adapt IT roadmaps accordingly, and provide recommendations to the CIO and Senior Leadership Team
- Develop and maintain project plans; define scope and objectives for technology initiatives; manage project budgets and resources
