Job Title: ETL Engineer

Location: 75% Remote, 25% travel required (Kansas City, MO)

Duration: Long Term

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced ETL Engineer to design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health plan data integration, Azure Data Factory, and cloud-based data workflows.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage large volumes of data and implement robust data pipelines
• Ensure seamless ETL/ELT pipeline orchestration and streamline data workflows within the cloud ecosystem
• Work with large datasets and optimize data processing for performance
• Troubleshoot complex data flows and integration issues

REQUIREMENTS:

• 7 years of health plan experience (Blues plan experience highly preferred)
• Azure Data Factory experience
• Strong understanding of data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud-based data workflows
• Strong Provider Data experience within a Health Plan environment
• Proficiency with SQL and data modeling concepts
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD pipeline management

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with other Azure services like Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Synapse Analytics
• Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance standards
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with debugging complex data flows and integration issues.
