• Intermediate knowledge of the business systems and technologies within the Logistics domain with a specific focus preferably on Manhattan WMOS systems
• Demonstrated experience leading successful development efforts
• Experience inspiring and motivating people to fulfil their potential
• Ability to promote teamwork and establish a foundation of trust among team members
• Experience with CI (Continuous Integration) methodologies and tools, including automated testing tools
• Highly knowledgeable and skilled in software development practices and techniques including but not limited to:
• Source code management -- branching, tagging, and merging
• Strong data management principles, around data architecture, modeling/design, data quality, security, data organization, and operations
• Must have experience with Distribution Centers and Warehouse Management Systems
• Experience in Transportation Management systems, Manhattan Slotting, and Labor Management systems is nice to have
• Experience implementing WM systems into new DCs and/or retrofitting WM systems into existing DCs
• Experience with Proship or other similar rate shopping tools is a big plus
• Communication Skills: Has excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information of the platform in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
• Must have excellent presentation skills to a wide spectrum of audience types (Sr
• Experience building teams for services gateway and CI/CD pipelines from scratch
• Object-oriented design and development
• Java technologies - J2EE and the Spring framework
• Skilled in writing and presenting -- able to craft needed messages, so they are clearly expressed and easily understood

Description

Analyses, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

• Reviews code to ensure it is functionally correct and consistent with the technical design
