Momentous is seeking a creative and experienced Social Media Manager to elevate our brand presence across social platforms, engage our audience, and drive business growth..
As a key member of the marketing team, you will own the strategy, planning, and execution of all social media initiatives, ensuring alignment with our brand values and marketing objectives. This role is ideal for a results-driven storyteller with a deep understanding of social media trends, a passion for health and wellness, and the ability to create compelling content that inspires and educates our audience. The Social Media Manager will determine the best ways to attract more customers through social messaging while authentically promoting the brand and its partners.
You will be working closely with the content team and reporting to the SVP of Marketing, while undertaking cross-functional work with our Partnerships and Ecommerce teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with overall marketing goals and drives engagement, growth, and conversions.
- Create and manage content calendars and brand accounts for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, blogs, and emerging channels.
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, and high performance teams to develop integrated social campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
- Attend company and partner events and produce live social media content.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build relationships with the brand's online community.
- Monitor conversations across social platforms, identifying opportunities to join discussions and amplify brand visibility.
- Partner with customer service teams to address inquiries or issues raised through social media.
- Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics regularly to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Use data insights to optimize content strategies, posting schedules, and platform-specific tactics.
- Stay informed about platform updates, algorithm changes, and best practices to maintain competitive edge.
- Identify and act on emerging trends, platform features, and opportunities to position the brand as a leader in the health and wellness space.
- Experiment with new content formats and strategies to keep the brand's social presence fresh and engaging.
- 6 years of experience in social media management, preferably in the health, wellness, or consumer goods industry.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related field (Master's degree is a plus)
- Proven track record of growing social media audiences and driving measurable results.
- Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite) and analytics platforms.
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills, with a flair for crafting engaging captions and storytelling.
- Creative mindset with the ability to conceptualize and execute innovative content ideas.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for health, wellness, and helping people achieve their goals, with familiarity in the supplement industry as a plus.
