1st Shift : Monday-Friday 7am-3pm.
Job Summary :
MMG's machine operators produce a variety of precision metal parts primarily from Aluminum, Steel, Brass, and Copper, using computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools such as Vertical and Horizontal Milling Machines as well as Conventional, Multi-Op.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Review blueprints and / or written specifications for a job
- Set up CNC Machines
- Understand and monitor the feed rate and speed of machine
- Set-up controls and make the cuts to make machined parts
- Ensure machine is working properly through standard preventative maintenance procedures
and to make certain machine is properly feeding, cutting, cooling and lubricating part while in
operation
