Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process client billing in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work closely with our operations team to ensure accurate client billing.
- Assist with accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate entry and timely payments.
- Support payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely distribution (if applicable).
- Perform general accounting tasks including data entry, account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Verify and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring all records are up to date and accurate.
- Utilize accounting software (Sage Intacct experience preferred) and Microsoft Excel to streamline financial reporting and data entry processes.
- Prepare reports and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to billing or accounts payable.
- Ensure compliance with basic accounting principles (GAAP) and internal policies.
- Handle sensitive and confidential financial information with discretion.
- Support the team with other administrative and accounting tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus.
- Proven experience in financial data entry or a related administrative role, preferably in an accounting or finance department.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and verification.
- Proficient in using accounting software (Sage Intacct experience is a plus) and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Paylocity is also a plus
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles (GAAP) and terminology.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks with deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
