What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Intern position at Mon Health?
Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist and with a patient centered culture, the Retail Pharmacy Intern will provide a positive experience to our customers and patients by assuring appropriate medication procurement, storage and preparation in the retail pharmacy setting. The Retail Pharmacy Intern will ensure that the pharmacy provides optimal services; facilitates safe medication use; meets all legal, accreditation and certificate requirements; and complies with all applicable policies, procedures, codes, laws and standards of pharmacy practice.
Education
Currently enrolled in a college of pharmacy; graduate of an approved college of pharmacy, or graduate of a foreign pharmacy who has obtained Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee certificate; qualified graduate who is awaiting examination for licensure; individual participating in a residency or fellowship program.
Experience
None required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Heavy Work: Lift 25 pounds manually frequently, >25 pounds lift with assistance and push 150 pounds on wheels.
