What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant/ Front Desk position at Monadnock Regional School District?
Hours: 6:30-3.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Computer proficiency including Google Suite.
- Excellent writing and communication skills. Attention to detail and organized.
- Organization and coordination of above average clerical functions.
- Modern office practices and equipment, including filing systems, telephone techniques, and correspondence and report writing. Basic methods and techniques of organization and planning.
- Adapting to changing work priorities.
- Communicating with diverse groups and individuals.
- Maintaining confidentiality.
- Meeting deadlines and schedules.
- Maintaining effective working relationships.
- Collaborating and working as part of a team. Ability to work independently.
- Coordinates the daily operation of the school’s attendance program for students.
- Works with the Assistant Principal to establish a safe and secure learning environment for students and staff.
- Assists in establishing and administering the school’s student discipline.
- Helps to coordinate conferences with parents/guardians of students concerning discipline, attendance, and student behavior.
- Assists Assistant Principal by answering questions and providing information for students, faculty, and families. Assists with parking privileges. This includes collecting parking funds; providing approved spaces for paid parking; monitoring the parking lot for any safety concerns.

- Moderate amount(s) of: fine finger dexterity, repetitive motion(s), bending/squatting. Significant amount(s) of: walking, mental attention/focus, speaking, listening.
