Monarch is Immediately Hiring a Roofing Technician to join our crew based in the Muskegon, Michigan area.

Full time - year round work! No layoffs.
- NO WEEKENDS!
- This is NOT a 1099 position
- $50.00 additional per day/per diem for every overnight spent working/traveling

Pay: $21.00/HR
Schedule: Full Time - Year Round. Dayshift Hours. Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 PM.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Covers roofs with roofing materials such as composition shingles or sheets, asphalt, gravel, rubber, spray foam or other materials to waterproof the roof
- Prepares roofs for roofing or re-roofing by inspecting, removing, replacing or covering underlayment’s, typically with plywood or OSB but other materials may be used.
- Cuts and installs strips of flashing into angles formed by walls, vents and any intersecting roof surfaces.
- Assist spray foam roof lead in repairing and replacing flat roofs
- Ensure that projects meet local, state and federal building codes
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required (unless otherwise noted):
- Valid driver's license
- 2 years’ experience in roofing
- 2 years' experience in construction
- Patio door and window replacement
- Deck repair and replacement
- Operating a bucket truck
- Operating a metal brake
Compensation and Benefits Available:
- Pay: $21.00/HR
- Yearly raises up to 5%
