Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Contract Recruiter to join our team and support our hiring needs in a fast-paced environment with constant pivots. A successful Recruiter will collaborate with department managers regularly, adapt to frequent pivots, and effectively prioritize current hiring needs. This role will be responsible for attracting candidates using various resources, including but not limited to job boards, referral campaigns, and sourcing passive candidates. Our ideal candidate has a background in HR, combined with experience in screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates.
This is a contract role designed to support our peak season and requires an on-site presence at the Centennial, CO branch. This will also require travelling to various Colorado branch locations to meet urgent hiring needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of recruitment experience
Recruitment experience in commercial landscape industry (preferred)
Specialized Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel
Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Ability to work independently and proactively
Strong ability to build rapport quickly with candidates and hiring managers
Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional organizational abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Flexibility to pivot often based on business needs
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
This is an on-site, contract role working closely with HQ Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, and Operations
Traveling to other branches within the CO area may be necessary to understand and achieve urgent hiring needs
Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidates throughout the recruitment process
Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets, including Candidate Tracker, Recruitment Details by Branch, Hiring Incentives, and Recruiter Productivity
Assist with job board sponsorships, social media recruitment campaigns, and ATS job postings
Parse resumes into the Applicant Tracking System
Source and recruit passive candidates for hard-to-fill roles
Screen candidate resumes and applications
Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
Conduct phone screens and interviews while providing detailed feedback to hiring managers
Coordinate interviews using ATS & Outlook Scheduling Assistant
Provide well-documented recruiting reports
Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates and build strong relationships with internal and external talent partners
Maintain a professional and collaborative relationship with Hiring Managers
Promote company hiring incentives and referral bonuses to candidates
Collaborate with Hiring Managers and the Recruitment team to refine and execute talent acquisition strategies

Please note that the salary information shown below is provided in compliance with state specific laws. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations, and therefore may be different in other locations or operating divisions.
Pay range: $70,000 - $85,000 annual
