Monarch Private Capital is seeking talented and self-driven individuals to join our marketing team. This role offers the opportunity to make immediate and significant contributions to various marketing initiatives, including event planning, press releases, social media campaigns, and other general marketing tasks. Ideal candidates have some marketing experience and enjoy wearing many different hats.


Responsibilities:


Event Planning and Management:

  • Document events attended, categorize by industry, and create a process to track opportunities.
  • Conduct research to identify potential future events.
  • Create and maintain a tradeshow calendar.
  • Develop ads and promotions tied to events; identify and print collateral needed.
  • Create a communications plan with the credit placement & acquisitions team to maximize event benefits.
  • Innovate at least one event idea for each conference (e.g., dinners, booth draws, collateral incentives).
  • Manage conference attendee lists and build prospecting lists of businesses and contacts.
  • Handle event logistics, including booth setup and signage.
  • Manage company swag and gift inventory; identify new promotional items.
  • Co-ordinate hosted events held at the conferences.
  • Travel may be necessary to attend and oversee events, conferences, and tradeshows.
  • Co-ordinate meetings scheduled during the conferences, including securing meeting locations.
  • Facilitate weekly meetings with the manager on event status and issues.
  • Write event recaps and circulate them within a week after each event.
  • Create pre- and post-event emails (with placement and acquisitions) and distribute to prospects.
  • Add/delete prospects in the marketing automation tool (MailChimp) for ongoing campaigns.
  • Identify speaking opportunities at conferences.
  • Establish rapport with conference leadership to enhance Monarch's presence and opportunities.


Press Releases and Communications:

  • Draft, edit, and distribute press releases to promote company news and achievements.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive communications plans for various marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging and strategy.


Social Media Campaigns:

  • Create and schedule social media content for platforms like LinkedIn.
  • Develop social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to refine strategies.
  • Post updates and engage with the audience pre-show and during events.


General Marketing Tasks:

  • Assist with other marketing initiatives as needed, including data analysis and administrative support.
  • Support the creation and distribution of marketing materials.
  • Help maintain and update the company's website and other digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with team members on various marketing projects to drive company growth.


Qualifications:

  • Business or marketing major.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Strong follow-up skills.
  • Self-sufficient and motivated to deliver tasks independently; resourceful and proactive.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Graphic design a pluss
  • Experience with Mailchimp or other marketing automation tools is a plus.
