1st shift, 6AM-2 : 30PM, or 7 : 30-4PM whatever works best for them, some hour flexibility.
Opportunity for 5 hours of OT per week. We typically do not work weekends.
Manual Machinist
Are you a machinist looking for a career with a well-established, expanding, privately held company located near Chicagos Midway airport? Since 1949 we have been a leader in the high-speed rotating equipment industry located in Bedford Park, IL.
Machinist Requirements :
Mastery of manual lathe and mill work
Experience with large parts and tight tolerances
Ability to hold total indicated runout (TIR) and straighten shafts to within 0.001 TIR
CNC programming and setup experience a plus but not required
Ability to read and understand blueprints, including GD&T, and close tolerances
A self-motivated team player who enjoys being busy and can prioritize jobs with the shop manager.
Strong work ethic, reliable, and always have a constructive attitude
Knowledge of Haas control a plus
Experience in manual machining Lathe, mill, and drill a plus
