Job Description :
The Assistant Athletic Director for Creative Services & Digital Brand Strategy will work with the Deputy Director in creating and implementing a strong visual brand for the University of Toledo Athletic Department, with an emphasis on increasing awareness, attendance, and revenue. This position is a voice of the University Athletic Department and directly communicates UT Athletics media and marketing materials to the public and with a great degree of autonomy.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree required in graphic design, art, communications, business, public relations or a related discipline.
- Four years’ experience in producing and creating sports content for marketing, promotions, board shows, social media, and athletic events.
- One (1) year of supervisory experience.
- Expertise in graphic design and video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suites, Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.
- Experience in remote and studio production including technical directing, editing, camera operation, and audio.
- Experience and knowledge of creative content strategy.
- Must keep regular hours with periodic evening and weekend work, including occasional travel.
- Must have, or able to obtain, a valid driver’s license by time of hire.
- Experience working in Athletics in higher education environment is a preference but not required.
