Job Description :
This position oversees & maintains the department's television production facility. The individual provides instructional assistance & support consistent with the Department of Communication and Media’s academic mission, and produces mediated material (video, audio, or other related material) in support of the University and its colleges & departments respective of their missions.
Minimum Qualifications :
- A Bachelor's degree in communication or related field is required (broadcast or electronic media preferred) with a minimum of four to five years work experience in broadcast or electronic media.
- Demonstrated understanding of newsroom authoring software and its integration into a TV studio production environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with broadcast television systems integration, installation, and operation in a live production environment, including, but not limited to, production switchers, character generators, video playback servers, studio cameras, audio consoles, nonlinear editing platforms, and local area network configuration & maintenance.
