monday.com is looking for an NYC-based Payroll Coordinator to join our expanding global Finance department!
As a Payroll Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the preparation and processing of payroll for our multi-state US payroll, Brazil and Canada. In this role you will work closely with our Payroll Manager and report to the US Controller, and assist with coordination of semi-monthly regular payroll, Bonuses, and Equity. We are looking for someone who thrives under pressure in a fast paced environment and has high attention to detail.
Please note that this is a hybrid position of 3 days/week in our NYC office.

Compensation finally awarded to the candidate will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience. About The Role
- Assist with collecting and setting up data to prepare and process semi-monthly payroll including expense reimbursements, imputed income, bonuses, deductions and prepare semi-monthly payroll JE.
- Record expense reimbursement into ERP.
- Own employee onboarding into payroll system as well as terminations and ensuring all proper documentation is in place.
- Assist with summarizing employee benefit bills by cost centers.
- Liaise with employees to resolve any open questions or concerns related to payroll.
- Assist with preparation of SOX control files.
- Assist with external audits.
- Must have a minimum of 2-3 years related work experience
- Prior experience with ADP and Global Payroll
- Conversational knowledge of Portuguese a plus
- Prior experience with NetSuite a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance a plus
- Highly detail-oriented, ability to meet deadlines
- Strong organization and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of MS Office with strong Excel skills
