Communications Lead - Enterprise & Reputation

A leading financial services company is seeking a Communications Lead to drive comprehensive

communications strategies that advance enterprise objectives through corporate, financial, and executive leadership communications. This role is responsible for promoting the organization in the market through earned channels, including media relations, and protecting its brand reputation.

The Communications Lead will collaborate with finance, legal, and risk management teams while leading executive engagement with financial media and industry stakeholders. This position will work closely with senior leadership and colleagues across the company as part of a highly collaborative communications leadership team.

The Role:

• Develop and execute strategic communications for financial announcements, investor events, and corporate transactions.
• Serve as the primary media spokesperson, managing relationships with key business and financial journalists.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and risk management teams to ensure clear and effective messaging.
• Lead executive communications, including speeches, thought leadership, and public engagements.
• Provide strategic counsel on crisis communications and issues management.
• Establish measurable communications programs with defined KPIs.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced communications professional with 7-10 years in financial services or insurance.
• Strong media relations skills with a proven track record in top-tier financial communications.
• Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills with attention to detail.
• Strategic thinker with strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000
