Job Description:
The Senior Digital Business Analyst will act as a liaison between the client's technical team and business owners. Working closely with the Product Owner, you will help define and document the business and user requirements, and analyze the functionality of a digital platform with a focus on Ignition and related technologies (OT/IA/SCADA). You will ensure clear communication between stakeholders and provide valuable insights on functionality gaps and solutions.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with users to gather and document business and user requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Create and maintain documentation repositories and project libraries.
- Develop workflow diagrams and screen mockups.
- Conduct business process analysis and preliminary cost/benefit analysis.
- Write acceptance criteria for user stories and defects.
- Collaborate with Dev and testing teams to ensure successful deployment.
- Create and manage the User Story Backlog in tools like JIRA.
- Track progress and evaluate results for accuracy and efficiency.
- Facilitate Agile estimation sessions and scoping exercises within Scrum Teams.
Must-Haves:
- Experience: 8 years of experience in software development and integration projects, including experience with OT, IA, SCADA, and Ignition platform.
- Skills: Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, Agile methodologies (Scrum), creating functional specifications, use cases, and developing flow diagrams.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or related field.
- Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels, proactive problem solver, and organizational skills.
Nice to Haves:
- CBAP or CCBA certification.
- Experience in larger team settings, especially in Fortune 500 companies.
- Background in Quality Assurance or working closely with QA teams.
- Data analysis skills and familiarity with MS SQL or Oracle.
- User Interface/User Experience design experience
