Overview:
We are seeking a Vice President of Data & Insights to lead our data strategy, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives. This role requires a hands-on leader who can set the strategic direction while also rolling up their sleeves to execute. The ideal candidate will have agency-side marketing analytics experience, a strong technical background, and the ability to present complex data insights in a digestible way for clients and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and define the data strategy, identifying opportunities to enhance analytics capabilities.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to the team while also driving execution.
- Support the onboarding and transition from Tableau to Sigma for business intelligence.
- Identify strategic areas of focus for the next 6-12 months, including tooling, processes, and vendor partnerships.
- Act as the face of analytics, representing the agency in client meetings and new business pitches.
- Work closely with senior leadership to leverage data insights for improved decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including media, analytics, and leadership, to ensure data-driven marketing strategies.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in marketing analytics and data strategy, preferably within an agency environment.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical data into clear, actionable insights for clients and executives.
- Client-facing experience with a track record of presenting analytics solutions effectively.
- Hands-on experience with marketing data strategy, media analytics, and business intelligence tools.
- Proficiency in tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, Rivery, Tableau/Sigma, and Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Campaign Manager (GCM), AIS, and Meta.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in evaluating and implementing new analytics tools and platforms.
- Strong understanding of data governance, modeling, and visualization best practices.
- A balance of strategic vision and tactical execution, with a passion for developing high-performing teams.
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
