Job Title: VP, Advertising Solutions – Digital Ad Publishing
Location: Local remote to NYC - work from home with onsites 1-2 times/month in NYC area
Duration: Permanent
Compensation Range: $185k-$200k base, target $350k OTE
The VP of Advertising Solutions at our client is responsible for driving revenue growth by leading a high-performance sales team and managing relationships with retailers, brands, agencies, and DSPs. This role focuses on strategic alignment, team management, and collaboration across departments to achieve revenue-based targets. The VP will work cross-departmentally to deliver market-leading positioning and features to their team to best position our client in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Lead revenue accountability for client partnerships with retailers, brands, agencies and demand-side platforms
- Hire, manage, and scale a high-performance organization of revenue-based FTEs, including quota-bearing sellers
- Attract, develop, mentor, lead, and retain a high-caliber team of professional Business Developers
- Devise and assign account lists to sellers, manage prospect pipelines, and ensure alignment of sales, account, and demand teams against revenue-based targets
- Accurately forecast revenue, analyze sales performance data against KPIs, and develop robust operational processes to support revenue growth
- Develop and manage the sales budget for the department
- Support key partnerships by building, maintaining, and managing relationships with prominent brands and agencies
- Collaborate with Analytics and Advertising Technology departments to set pricing floors for products, formats, and regions
- Partner with the marketing team to generate sales collateral and organize events to maximize the client’s relationship with buyers
- Attend key industry events, participate in panels, presentations, and other thought leadership activities to drive revenue activity and enhance client's visibility
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with outside revenue and technology partners, including but not limited to SSPs, DSPs, Comscore, IAS, TAG, Prebid.org, etc
- Represent client’s revenue generation through participation in industry groups such as IAB, Prebid, W3C, etc
Additional Responsibilities:
- Lead efforts to drive revenue through SSP and DSP partnerships
- Develop and manage core 5-6 enterprise partnerships
