What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chief of Staff (Investment Team) – Global Prop Trading firm position at Mondrian Alpha?
An expanding, global prop trading firm are looking to hire a Chief of Staff for its New York front office.
The hire, sitting with the New York based investment team, will run a remit that covers a strategy component (implementing strategic initiatives), business analytics and key stakeholder / relationship management tasks. This includes playing a prominent role on the buildout and scalability of existing/new/potential business launches, front office technology development, managing the portfolio management function high-level / being their first point of contact on issues & challenges faced, wider problem solving for the PM team & providing detailed analysis / reports to senior management on business performance & macro considerations.
Candidates should have roughly 10-20yrs relevant experience. Strong markets experience / a passion for financial markets is key. We have some flexibility on background, however an investment professional looking for a fresh focus / challenge would appeal, as would a highly strategic individual working in a COO / business management function, a front office strategy team specialist looking for a stand-alone role, or somebody from a leading management consulting firm. Strong analytical skills are a pre-requisite & advanced tech skills highly beneficial.
