What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credit Trader Assistant - Hedge Fund - $300-400k TC position at Mondrian Alpha?
A multi-billion dollar AUM hedge fund are looking to hire a Trader Assistant specific to its US credit business.
Whilst there is a team of TA's in the firm's HQ office overseas, this is the first credit TA hire in New York - with this comes high visibility and autonomy.
Sat with exceptional credit derivatives / structured credit traders, in a high-volume, complex trading environment, the hire will work a newly created, stand-alone remit specific to this group. BAU responsibilities are focused on trade bookings, risk reporting, performance analytics, execution oversight and managing ‘street facing’ tasks. The nature of the role means that the hire will regularly run wide ranging, bespoke / ad-hoc projects for US traders. Candidates with ambitions to manage a TA team or perhaps to become a trader themselves are welcome to apply.
Candidates should currently be working in a hedge fund or top tier IB operations / trade support / middle office / trader assistant role. Strong skills in credit derivatives / structured credit are required. We expect candidates to have strong academics and advanced tech skills.
The role can pay a strong performer a $300-400k TC year one - a minimum bonus guarantee and sign-on bonus will also form part of the hire’s package.
