A global leading high frequency trading fund are seeking a senior, skilled, database site reliability engineer who has very strong experience with Postgres. This fund is truly "tech first" and built by engineers from the top down. You'll join the companies growing research and development team. This team builds and maintains an exceptionally large and growing distributed compute cluster. The right engineer will bring solid Linux systems engineering skills along with PostgreSQL, Prometheus and Python.
Responsibilities :
- Design, build and maintain the SQL and NoSQL database infrastructure, supporting a globally distributed trading infrastructure and extending to large-scale research.
- Configure and scale PostgreSQL and MySQL for real-time, trade-critical workflows.
- Performance optimisation of PostreSQL and MySQL.
Salary : $550,000
