We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Support Engineer to join a market-leading global hedge fund with a multi-billion-dollar platform. This is a high-impact, hands-on role within a fast-paced environment where Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation play a critical role in supporting the firm’s world-class trading and investment strategies.
As part of a high-calibre engineering team, you will be responsible for building, managing, and optimizing the firm’s Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance while leveraging modern DevOps and automation tools. You will work closely with trading, development, and infrastructure teams to create robust, scalable, and self-healing systems that drive the firm’s success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Own and troubleshoot infrastructure issues to ensure optimal system performance, availability, and reliability.
- Enhance observability through advanced monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.
- Automate operational processes using Ansible, Terraform, and CI / CD pipelines.
- Build, manage, and support containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Champion IaC principles to create scalable and reproducible infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development and business teams to improve infrastructure efficiency, security, and resilience.
