Associate Portfolio Manager
Reports to: Director of Fixed Income and Portfolio Management
Location: St. Louis, MO
Status: Exempt
Moneta seeks an Associate Portfolio Manager to join our Enterprise Services Team in our St. Louis Office. Working closely with the entire Investments team, this Associate Portfolio Manager is going to be responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of accounts in our turnkey asset management platform Eclipse. With your hands in every piece of Eclipse, this Associate Portfolio Manager will be balancing accounts, trading day-to-day, managing appropriate cash balances, and assuring our model portfolios stay in balance with their goals and objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of our investment philosophy and the models we use to support the philosophy
- Work closely with Investments team to administer investments in model portfolios
- Responsible for implementing portfolios with appropriate asset allocations based on predetermined models
- Focus on model changes and rebalancing for both client accounts and models
- Monitor asset allocation of model portfolios and conduct rebalancing as necessary
- Run regular audits to monitor portfolios for drift as well as to identify portfolio improvement opportunities
- Enter, maintain, and report on data in Eclipse
- Collaborate with Partner Teams to enter and analyze data in investment portfolio proposals
- Provide timely reports to Partners and Advisors communicating timelines, delays, projected and mitigated issues, and outcomes
- Effectively communicate with Partners and Advisors to explain trades, reports, and analytics
- Produce regular and ad hoc reports from trade order management system
- Work with our Compliance department to document and report on trading activity

Qualifications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance, or other related topic
- 2 years of portfolio management or trading experience.
- 2 years’ experience working with Bloomberg, Morningstar, Schwab/TD Ameritrade, or Fidelity platforms
- Any experience working with Orion/Eclipse preferred
- Strong interest and knowledge in Financial Planning and Wealth Management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and exercise discretion without immediate supervision at all times
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to organize and present data
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
