Money Habitudes is a leading behavioral finance tool used by financial educators, coaches, and counselors to help individuals understand their money mindset and improve financial decision-making. With over 3 million assessments completed, we are now modernizing and expanding our product line to better serve practitioners and their clients.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Part-Time Content Specialist with expertise in behavioral finance and a broad knowledge of financial resources available on the market to support the update and enhancement of our Money Habitudes product line. The ideal candidate will be an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) or AFC candidate with experience in content development, curriculum design, or educational writing. Additionally, graphic design skills and a strong artistic and creative vision are a plus as we work to modernize and visually enhance our materials.

This role requires working in-office on a part-time basis, collaborating closely with our team to refine existing content, incorporate current behavioral finance research, and ensure materials align with best practices in financial counseling and resource accessibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in-office to review and update Money Habitudes materials, including assessments, facilitator guides, and educational resources.
• Ensure content reflects current behavioral finance research and best practices.
• Develop new content and practical applications for financial educators, counselors, and coaches.
• Adapt materials to be engaging, accessible, and relevant for diverse audiences.
• Integrate knowledge of available financial resources into updated materials to support practitioners and clients.
• Collaborate with the Money Habitudes team to align content updates with business goals.
• Provide recommendations for integrating behavioral finance principles into digital and interactive formats.
• Assist in the visual enhancement of materials—graphic design knowledge is a plus.
• Contribute artistic and creative ideas to improve product presentation and user experience.

Qualifications & Experience

• Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) or AFC candidate (required).
• Strong knowledge of behavioral finance, financial psychology, and money mindset frameworks.
• Broad understanding of financial resources available on the market, including tools, programs, and support systems.
• Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or content writing for financial professionals.
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand materials.
• Previous work with financial counseling, coaching, or resource development preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, and research skills.
• Graphic design experience (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar) is a plus.
• An artistic and creative vision to help modernize and enhance materials.
• Ability to work in-office on a part-time basis and collaborate with the team effectively.
