Recreation Assistant / Crew Member

Our new hires for the Conroe location will be the first ones we look to as we expand to other locations.

Your Role:

• Enjoying connecting / engaging with the public is a must
• Work as a team to enhance the guests experience
• Facilitate games, side contests & activities.
• Maintain an active presence around the recreational areas, ensuring cleanliness and guest satisfaction
• Check in arriving guests to the area
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Required to take boaters safety course
• Will need to operate a small boat
• Possibility of needing to get in the water to retrieve golf balls or other items
• Comfortable engaging with people, being professional but at the same time getting the customers excited for their chance to get a hole in one.
• Clean all areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating procedures.
• Set-up and break down the recreational areas to ensure a successful day
• Remove soiled linen and trash from all service areas and take to appropriate locations in the prescribed manner.
• Always respond in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other team members.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Constant standing and occasional walking, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move or push/pull goods up to 40 lbs or a maximum of 75 lbs on a hand cart/truck.
• Ability to perform duties in confined spaces and within extreme temperature ranges.
• Ability to strictly follow all sanitation, safety and cleaning schedules practicing clean-as-you-go techniques.
• This job is performed 100% outdoors. Must be able to tolerate extreme heat. Property provides consistent hydration and safety measures for all outdoor team members.
