What are the responsibilities and job description for the Linen Scale Operator position at Moneysworth Linen Services?
Moneysworth Linen Services is a state of the art industrial laundry facility located in Elizabeth City, NC. We provide commercial linen processing services to hospitals, hotels, resorts, and beach rentals throughout Virginia and North Carolina.
Skills needed: Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes. Computer-savvy. Ability to learn new logistic software. Organization and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work priorities. Positive working attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to push/pull around heavy carts. (75 pounds) Ability to drive commercial truck (26-foot box truck) not required but will be trained once the employee starts.
Duties would include: Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures and ensure accurate billing to customers. Communicate with production supervisors, customer service personnel, and truck drivers to ensure on time delivery. Track and fix shipping errors. Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements Load trucks and communicate with drivers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.99 - $14.00 per hour
