As a family owned business Mongiovi & Son has been a local industry leader in the Plumbing, Fire Protection and Excavating services for over 40 years.
With over 150 skilled tradesman throughout Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio and Northern West Virginia, Mongiovi & Son can handle any size project within any market sector.
The Service Technician is responsible for the service and sales of kitchen suppression systems, fire extinguishers and emergency lighting systems. This involves working offsite at customer facilities.
Responsibilities Include:
- Operate, test and recharge fire extinguishers.
- Maintain, repair, test, and recharge equipment in good working condition.
- Perform kitchen suppression system inspections, service, repairs, installs.
- Perform exit and emergency light inspection and repair.
- Perform Special Hazard suppression system inspections, service, repairs, installs.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 75 lbs
- Ability to work on a ladder
- 40 hours per week
- Mechanical aptitude
- Problem solving ability and ability to work independently and as a team.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record a must
- Ohio and West Virginia licensing a plus. If not, must obtain within 180 days.
- Previous experience a plus.
