Summary
The Audiology Technician is a person who, after appropriate training and demonstration of competency, performs delegated tasks that are prescribed, directed, and supervised by a licensed audiologist. The Audiology technician serves as a contact person for all clinic sites regarding day-to-day audiology needs and equipment maintenance. The Audiology Technician will assist the audiologist and Monkey Mouths staff in daily clinical duties as well as clerical duties and other administrative support functions.

Essential Job Functions
- Assist audiologists in providing clinical audiology services to pediatric patients
- Schedules initial and follow-up audiology appointments
- Maintain and manage the patient equipment from ordering to arrival
- Maintain and manage loaner equipment to facilitate audiologic testing
- Maintain and manage all documents and records relating to audiology
- Assist with on-site service visits for equipment maintenance and repairs
- Support and assist Audiologist with maintenance of service warranties and the repair of malfunctioning equipment
- Support Audiologist in obtaining information such as medical records, release of information and case history paperwork
- Manage repairs including checking warranty, discussing price with parents (if out of warranty), keeping records when shipped and received. Ensure patients are scheduled for hearing aid delivery
- Communicate with manufacturers to order appropriate supplies
- Manage, organize, and monitor audiology supplies to ensure patient care is uninterrupted
- Assist with obtaining oto clearances prior to fittings to ensure deadlines are met
- Assist the audiologist in testing young and difficult-to-test children
- Perform daily and weekly equipment checks and calibration
- Clean audiologic supplies per infection control policy
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance of hearing aids (i.e., tubing changes, replace battery doors or ear hooks)
- Work with the Audiology Coordinator to provide administrative support as needed
- Support other staff members of Monkey Mouths, LLC as directed

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
