Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the store associates.  Support the Assistant Manager and Manager in developing a strong sales environment focused on teamwork and customer service.
• Ensure store sales goals are achieved by providing leadership and direction in the areas of: sales techniques, customer service, product knowledge and store communications. 
• Support the Assistant Manager and Store Manager by implementing and assisting in employee training and development.  Training and coaching will include the areas of sales and customer service
• Provide coaching and direction on a day-to-day basis to ensure staff performance standards are met.  Provide leadership and directions to the sales associates as needed. 
• Perform good customer service by assisting customers in person or on the phone. Provide information to customers on current product features and benefits.  Requires maintaining current and accurate knowledge of product features, benefits, and availability.  Resolve customer complaints. 
• Answer product and order inquiries.
• Perform regular daily store, activities such as opening and closing procedures which include balancing registers, preparing cash bags, and activating security system.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels through ongoing communication with Assistant Manager, Store Manager and Warehouse Supervisor.
• Assist Store Manager in the implementing and maintenance of management systems for sales tracking, organization, controlling and auditing store operations.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years retail management/supervisory experience. 
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree a plus (in business with an emphasis in retailing or other related field preferred)
• Moderate computer skills
• average a 45-hour work week, weekends required
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and as the business dictates
• Occasionally life and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to climb ladders

Work Environment 

Working conditions are generally indoors except for special events. May be required to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs occasionally.  Required to stand and walk majority of the shift. Some Weekend Shifts are required.

Salary : $20 - $23
