Camp Counselor at Big Brook Park, Marlboro
Make this a summer to remember! Working with two or more staff members, Camp Counselors facilitate pre-planned activities for groups of children ages 8-14. Activities include unique crafts, impromptu games, various sports, fossil hunting, rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, camping, pool time, fishing, archery, and more! Every day brings an opportunity for exploring the park, multiplying the fun, and creating happy campers!
Location: Big Brook Park, Marlboro (camp may travel)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., alternating weeks available; may include overnights and weekends, June-August
Pay: $16.10/hr.
Requirements:
- Must be 17 years of age or older with a valid NJ driver’s license.
- Must attend pre-camp training in June.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors, in all weather conditions.
- Must have the ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Must have excellent communication skills with children and adults.
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment.
- Must have interest in/or knowledge of activities offered.
