MONMOUTH COUNTY PARK SYSTEM
General Day Camp Counselor at Dorbrook Recreation Area, Colts Neck
We are seeking enthusiastic, responsible, creative individuals to lead our General Day Camps. Counselors will plan and instruct unique camp activities including outdoor games and daily crafts. Staff will also be responsible for pool time supervision. Strong candidates will demonstrate punctuality, responsibility, and an interest in working with children ages pre-K through 7th grade with an emphasis on camper safety. Hours: June through August; 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or as assigned
Pay: starting at$16.10 / hour
Location: Dorbrook Recreation Area, Colts Neck
Requirements:
- Counselors must be 16 years of age or older
- Experience working with children is a plus.
- Must have excellent communication skills with children and adults.
- Must have an interest in working with children ages pre-K through 7th grade with an emphasis on camper safety.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors and can work as part of a team.
