Asia Sales Engineer - Asia/Pacific Market

JOB DESCRIPTION

Monnit Corporation is currently looking for an Asia Sales Engineer to join us in our HQ location in South Salt Lake or our Kaysville location representing marketing, and business relations between our Monnit HQ and Monnit Korea locations. We're looking for individuals fluent in Korean with experience in building influential relationships with business customers, bridges the gap between technical expertise and sales, and qualifying leads as opportunities.

  • Key Responsibilities & Attributes for Success
  • Responsible for collaboration with both Monnit HQ and Monnit Korea offices.
  • Must develop a solid understanding of the joint venture office's needs and be able to translate into both written and oral communications in Korean and English.
  • Candidates must possess the ability and confidence to engage customers, evoke interest in IoT solutions, think quickly on their feet, and apply value propositions to specific customer scenarios and a variety of buyers.
  • Align with internal and external sales, marketing and business relation teams to meet goals.
  • Establish an ongoing outbound lead development cadence of prioritizing contacts, and contacting them through a coordinated outreach of email, phone and social media
  • Establish regular cadence to coordinate with Sales team and management to provide an extended layer of support to drive new sales opportunities, schedule appointments in calendar, and provide follow-up, hand-off and feedback.
  • Capture and enter all lead generation activity into Salesforce, and report on lead and stage development, forecasting and pipeline velocity as well as key market/segment intelligence

What's required to be considered?

  • Fluent in Korean and English
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with 3 or more years' experience with Asian studies (preferably in a business environment)
  • 2 or more years exceptional sales attainment in a quota-driven, high-demand environment
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) and telephone presence
  • Self-motivated, accountable approach combined with strong sense of teamwork
  • Affinity for technology, IoT, and international business
  • High proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Results oriented; consistently delivers a quality work product
  • Highly analytical with a keen attention to detail
  • Creative and resourceful; finds ways to do more with less
  • Comfortable creating and testing new and innovative marketing ideas
  • Able to excel under pressure while using sound judgment and maintaining high quality
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Flexible; able to multitask, adjust to changing parameters and priorities in order to handle many assignments simultaneously
  • Strong organization, decision-making and prioritization skills
  • Self-motivated; work efficiently with minimum supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Able to lead select training sessions in Korean and English.
