This position is responsible for assisting the Quality Assurance Manager in maintaining compliance with all Manufacturing Quality and Food Safety Policies and Guidelines. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety and quality assurance principles and be able to interact effectively with colleagues across different departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in maintaining compliance with all Manufacturing Quality and Food Safety Policies and Guidelines.
- Monitor existing product SKU's and directly recommend/lead development improvements with R&D.
- Monitor quality of incoming raw materials and finished products, including organoleptic evaluations.
- Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
Requirements:
- Serve Safe Certification.
- Knowledge of USDA/FDA regulations, 3rdparty audits, GMP's, SSOP's, HACCP, BRC, and process control.
- Intermediate level computer skills (especially literate in Microsoft office).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A high level of interpersonal skills and excellent leadership skills.
