Primary Function
Support the production of Snack Food products through the operation of smokehouses.
Major Duties And Responsibilities

Primary Function
Support the production of Snack Food products through the operation of smokehouses.
Major Duties And Responsibilities
- Load and unload seven smokehouses
- Set electrical controlling devices for time and temperature according to product being smoked
- Monitor cooking process, checking product every two hours
- Remove product when appropriate shrinkage has been achieved according to product standards
- Move product to tempering room for cooling
- Document temperature and actual ambient air temperature during every check and upon completion of cooking cycle
- Dip nuggets and prepare for packaging
- Clean and sanitize smokehouses and cooking racks
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow GMP/HAACP procedures
- Assist with other tasks as assigned
- Knowledge of general smokehouse operating practices and procedures
- Detailed-oriented
- Intermediate level math and reading skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to neatly and accurately complete paperwork
