Position Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading a team charged with safely managing receiving, shipping, storing, put-away and inventory activities for the assigned facility(s). The qualified individual will encompass an understanding of food manufacturing operations in a multi-temperature environment and be the subject matter expert for storage and distribution practices for these locations. This role will be expected to create and maintain operations consistent with Monogram’s budgeting process and utilize metrics to deploy a continuous improvement culture. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Operations Manager and is responsible for leading a multi-site team of up to 5 direct reports and up to 19 indirect reports.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for the receiving, put-away and shipping activities in internal and external warehousing operations ensuring its diligence, accuracy, and timeliness of completion.
- Promote and enforce a process-honoring culture while creating a safe work environment.
- Build, develop, and lead a world-class team of distribution associates.
- Conducts interviews, performance appraisals, on boarding, and disciplinary meetings including terminations.
- Manage and build continuous improvement relationships between multiple internal and external teams.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to plan future storage requirements based on business growth to accommodate incremental and long-term storage needs.
- Learn, utilize, and teach associates prevailing EPR/WMS/IMS tools.
- Ensure warehouse operations meet food safety standards and will consistently exceed expectations with external food safety audits.
- Initiate and manage inventory cycle counting programs.
- Administrate all applicable HR responsibilities including but no limited to payroll, upholding crewing levels, communicate and enforce company rules and policies, and develop team member goals and objectives.
- Facilitate and enforce department training, licensing or other required certifications as required by EHS, T&D, or other cross functional partner.
- Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings, cost avoidance, and process improvements.
- Create and measure KPI metrics for both behavior and performance accountability.
- Develop, document, and implement SOP’s for warehouse related activities.
- Provide career development, coaching, training, and skill building for warehousing team.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree or B.S. degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. Equivalent extensive warehousing and logistics experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing warehousing operations in a multi-temperature, multi-site food industry environment.
- Bi-Lingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
- Sound understanding and experience with shipping and receiving processes of LTL, FTL and parcel deliveries.
- High level, critical thinker capable of leading a team to develop understanding of root causes while collectively working towards solutions.
- Strong interpersonal abilities, communication skills, analytical capabilities, and customer service experience desired.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with a keen sense of urgency required.
- Motivated, self-starter, able to work independently and make fact-based decisions/recommendations.
- Able to see the bigger picture and work collaboratively with other business partners to accomplish the common goal.
- Proficient with WMS/IMS, MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel preferred, Power BI desirable) and ERP systems (MS D365 preferred).
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
