The Accounting Specialist will assist in analyzing operational data for posting to general ledger accounts, validation of
cost, report creation and performing other accounting and inventory functions as needed. The Accounting Specialist will
play a key role in our company’s financial commitment to the company’s accounts and our customer relationships.
GENERAL DUTIES
- Review production paperwork for accuracy.
- Closing/posting production data.
- Assisting production with inventory issues related to consumption.
- Track transaction accuracy.
- File documents accordingly.
- Other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Shared Office/Clerical area
- May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
- Ability to sit most of the scheduled shift but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
- Hand/eye coordination.
- Handling (holding, grasping).
- Seeing/depth perception.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Associate degree in accounting or finance and/or 1- 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively.
- Computer skills: MS Office Suite, MS Outlook, the ability to adapt to industry-specific programs.
- Demonstrates attention to detail.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
- Works well in group problem-solving situations.
- Completes work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to continuously build knowledge and skills.
- Prioritize and plan work activities; Use time efficiently.
