We are actively seeking sharp, knowledge thirsty engineering students who are interested in focusing on power. Power is used in every electrical/electronic system, so the need is there and growing. Join an established and rapidly growing segment of electronics.
Our paid Applications Engineer (AE) interns will learn about the company, business, products, technology and team. The intern will be engaged with the AE team providing technical support and development of 48V DC-DC power conversion solutions for automotive. Job duties include the simulation and bench evaluation for new products, providing reference designs, debugging customer designs, and writing application notes.

Responsibilities
- Research MPS company, power products and technology.
- Provide application support for customers and Field Application Engineers (FAE).
- Work with AEs and DEs on new product evaluation and debugs.
- Write application notes, design notes, and articles.
- Present project summary and results to senior leadership.
- Written and verbal proficiency in English with excellent communication skill
- Hands on experience with power electronics hardware implementation and testing.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout
- Must be able to work in office in Livonia, MI during internship
