Job Summary:
Position reports directly to the Director of Global IT and is responsible for overall systems infrastructure and security of the Company worldwide. The person will define scalable systems and policies to support Company’s growth and will be responsible for the following: email system / network support; maintain and update server/phone system; daily backup/restoration support; remote site desktop/network support, IT purchases and SOX documentation.
Essential Functions
Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in California is $140,000 - $190,000.

Essential Functions
- Maintain company's local area network topology and performance; fine-tuning through plan, project management for capacity and traffic balancing; able to analyze/streamline network traffic.
- Maintain company wide area networks: Internet connections, Data lines connections, Network topology and its associated documentation/contracts for lease and/or maintenance.
- Quote, purchase, configure, manage, and maintain company's network equipment: Router, CSU, DSL modems, Firewall, VPN devices, and switches.
- Equipment room arrangement: locations, wiring planning, UPS capacity and balancing.
- Maintain company servers/ storage in configuration.
- Configure and maintain network equipment, domain structure and security levels always.
- Generate IT operation procedure on preventive maintenance processes; train helpdesk staff to take on routine responsibilities.
- Firewall engineering and administration.
- Windows 2000/2003/XP, RH Linux, Exchange 2003, AD administration.
- Intrusion Detection and Prevention/Incidents response.
- Purchase Network equipments, server computers and its associated accessories via company defined approval procedure.
- Remote management of company's remote offices' routers, firewalls, and VPN devices to ensure the overall network structure is standardized and disciplined.
- B.S degree in Computer Engineering.
- 8-10 years information service-related experience in midsize corporation 300 employees.
- Comprehensive understanding and hands on experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies as well as Cisco IOS.
- Well-rounded knowledge of remote access technologies.
- Fully aware of Microsoft family products from security, operating system, office tools and Access Database.
- Hands on desktop/computer, network, and server knowledge with related IT house keeping skills.
- Expert knowledge in Server/TCPIP network and router/switch configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Thorough knowledge of Information Security practices/technologies: Internet content filtering, systems hardening, security policies/procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- VMWare experience a plus.
- SOX compliancy experience in GCC and application control a plus.
- Bi-lingual in English and Mandarin a plus.
