This person will join the growing MPS Detroit team, serving as the technical support contact for key MPS accounts in the Michigan/Indiana area. The main responsibility of this position is to engage with key customers and secure design wins incorporating MPS products and services. The FAE is also responsible for defining and sharing current and emerging customer technical needs to improve tactical and strategic product positioning.

Job Description

Essential Functions
- Contribute to MPS US Revenue growth through direct and in-direct technical activities.
- Develop a solid technical understanding of our products and relevant solutions.
- Provide technical support to customers to meet or improve upon customer’s requirements with MPS products and technical knowledge.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow MPS business.
- Gather potential market moves and competitors’ activities for MPS product strategy.
- Educate and present to regional sales and customers MPS products and technology.
- BSEE/MSEE with 5 years power management and analog systems experience.
- Automotive experience highly preferred.
- Ability to interface directly with customers and solve customer problems.
- Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills, self-motivated and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate at all levels written and oral.
- Oral /written proficiency in English.
