Monoprice is looking for an experienced Program Manager to organize and coordinate interconnected projects focused on New Product Introductions (NPI) across multiple product categories. In this role, the Program Manager provides strategic guidance to teams and product managers, and tactical support in ensuring products launch on-time, on-budget, with specifications and features that will delight our customers.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing a mixture of direct and indirect matrix managed teams of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. The Program Manager also develops efficient strategies and tactics to continually improve communication and performance of project teams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Key Responsibilities:
• Formulate, organize, and monitor inter-connected projects that adhere to organizational objectives.
• Decide on suitable strategies and objectives with support from project sponsors and management.
• Lead and evaluate product managers and other team members.
• Work closely with program sponsors, cross-functional teams, and product managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives and projects.
• Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Work with program sponsors and management to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department.
• Leads proactive steps to minimize delays in delivery.
• Regularly communications with internal customers to arrange meetings, confirm program / project schedules, and discuss any program problems.
• Forecasts potential schedule delays and develops alternate plans with the cross functional team.
• Oversee multiple project teams with a mix of direct and indirect reports to ensure program goals are reached.
• Apply change, risk and resource management.
• Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI.
• Prepare reports for program stakeholders and sponsors.
• Preforms other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position.
• Thorough understanding of project / program management techniques and methods.
• Demonstrated experience in new product introduction within the consumer electronics and/or consumer audio space a must.
• Motivated self-started with high attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross functional teams in geographically diverse locations.
• Excellent knowledge of project performance evaluation and change management principles.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Asana, MS Project, etc.) is a preferred.
• Must have experience with using AI tools.
• Proven, excellent communication skills, meeting organization and management.
• Excellent problem-solving ability.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
