Job Overview
The Payroll Clerk supports the Payroll Supervisor in processing paperwork relating to BOCES payrolls.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
- Process Workers’ Compensation forms including the C-2F, C-11 and C-240.
- Provides BOCES Workers’ Compensation department with updated information.
- Enters changes to benefit deductions for retirement systems.
- Monitors retirement applications for non-contractual staff.
- Enters payroll related deductions.
- Tracks retiring employees and processes the required paperwork.
- Completes verification of employment and prior service requests.
- Assists in processing attendance and paper/online timesheets.
- Reviews data entry for accuracy.
- Additional duties as required.
Job Qualifications
Must possess or meet requirements for Civil Service title of Office Clerk III or Office Clerk IV (Competitive).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
